Always sad to pack away the Valentine’s ornaments when the season is over!

I thought I left the snow in Switzerland, but it followed me all the way back to Missouri. But, the sunshine came out this week and I’m looking forward to Spring! The one benefit of snow has been all the extra stitching time and I’ve been inspired to expand my stash. I’m sharing a few things that I’ve purchased this month, as well what I’ve been watching and listening to while I stitch. I hope you find a little something that works for you too!

What I’m Stitching

All the snow days meant I stacked up finished needlepoint canvases. I put the final stitches in the Swiss Fondue Canvas from Stitch Style Needlepoint and Barbieland round by The Book Canvas. With Spring around the corner, I tackled three new seasonal projects:

Red Hearts Champagne by C’ate La Vie - Even though I previously stitched her Starry Veuve, the Heart Veuve was the first canvas by this designer that I bought. It will be perfect to add to my Valentine’s collection.

King Cake by Needle Nola - Even though I’ve only stitched one Mardi Gras canvas so far, I’m looking forward to the day that I have an entire collection.

Irish Roundabout Sign by Stitch Style Needlepoint - Thanks to a trip to Ireland, I have a growing Irish collection, and this was a great addition. I plan to display them all on a St. Patrick’s Day tree.

What I’m Buying

As I mentioned earlier, I really leaned into building my stash and filling in holes in some of my ornament collections. I added a few new canvases to my collection in February including:
