HiFi Likes: October 2024
I know I previously spoke of hoping this transition from Summer to Fall would be transformative for you all, and that was partially because behind the scenes I was making changes of my own. After 16 years on the East Coast (12 in DC, 4 in NYC), I decided it was time to be closer to home. The thought of moving closer to home has been on my mind for a few years, but around Labor Day it seemed like this was the time to make the change. And thankfully when my heart landed on that decision, a series of doors seemed to open making the next steps a little easier.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you who have supported me during this time, even if you didn’t know it. You’ve been patient and kind and it has carried me through a very bittersweet time. Due to the length of the move (just over 1000 miles!), I’ve been living out of a suitcase for almost four weeks which has made stitching and creating content harder than I expected. But, I’m getting settled in my new place and have been reunited with my craft supplies. I’ve got a series of tutorials and posts (including tips for moving needlepoint) that I’m excited to be able to finalize and share with you all in the coming weeks.
What I’m Stitching
I’m excited to be putting the finishing touches on four stitch guides - one for Plum Design’s Main Street canvas and three for Le Point Studio. Look for more on these launches in the next few weeks! With these guides and the move, I focused on my never ending WIP - the Fox and Hound eyeglass case. The basketweave has been therapeutic to say the least!
What I’m Wearing
