Just a few of the ornaments I’ve added beaded cording to. Rainbow by Morgan Julia Designs; L’amour by What A Gem; Let’s Get Lucky by Ziggy Stitches; Dolly for President by Over the Hill Needlepoint; Memorial Continental Hall by Stitch Style

While I’ve long admired beaded cording, I hadn’t tried it until recently and now I’m hooked. This technique is fairly simple and adds so much wow to a finish - it’s worth the extra time to tackle. What’s great is that this is an extra step that comes at the end of the regular finishing process, so even if you don’t finish your own items you could still add on beaded cording to a finished piece.

To get started, just gather a few supplies and follow the step by step instructions.
