Making a Patch Sweatshirt

One thing that was clear very early on in my move to Kansas City was that team wear is a must have accessory. I initially browsed fan stores for a shirt or sweatshirt, but everything was expensive and I struggled to find something I liked. In the time since, I’ve invested in some basic items in yellow and red clothing items, but with the Super Bowl only a few days away, I was looking for something more. Then, during a recent visit with my friend Sam, she wore an adorable patch sweatshirt that she had DIY’d. I knew this was the perfect solution for team wear ahead of Sunday’s game (that wouldn’t cost a fortune!). In this post I’ll share a rundown of how to source and create a team sweatshirt just in time for the Super Bowl. Don’t worry, Sam is an Eagles fan and this concept could easily be replicated for a whole host of themed sweatshirts, so the round up of supplies is not limited to the Chiefs.
